HOA Surveying Services

When a boundary or easement question comes up between an HOA and a homeowner, or between the association and its own common area, the answer has to be defensible. We provide the survey work that gives boards, managers, and their attorneys a clear, recorded basis to act on.

We work directly with HOA boards, community management companies, and the attorneys who represent them. We've handled lot-line disputes, common area retracements, and litigation support surveys for associations across Orange County.

Most boundary and easement problems inside an HOA aren't simple. Plats are old, monuments move or disappear, and a board doesn't want to guess where the association's authority ends and a homeowner's property begins. We give you a surveyed, recorded answer instead of an assumption, so the board can act on it and defend it if it's ever challenged.

How It Works

  1. Call or send us the situation. Tell us what's in dispute, what documents exist (plats, CC&Rs, prior surveys), and what decision the board or attorney needs to make.
  2. We scope the work. Most HOA matters start as a boundary retracement or easement location. We'll tell you plainly what's needed and what it costs before we start.
  3. Field survey and research. We pull county records, locate existing monuments, and survey the disputed line or easement on the ground.
  4. Recorded deliverable. You get a surveyed exhibit, corner record, or Record of Survey your board or attorney can rely on and, if needed, file with the County.
